Datastream Formula function is used to export macroeconomic data and time series. We select Datastream Formula in the Refinitiv tab.
A new window opens. The desired time series can be input into Series/Lists. The outlined button Find Series helps us select the right one and works similarly to the filter in Charts -> Datastream chart. Multiple options for editing the data are available. When we are happy with the setting, we click on Insert.
To switch the data display between time series and a single point in time we have options Start-End and As of:
Editing the output is again in the easiest way performed by clicking on the cell from which we generated the table and choosing Datastream Formula again. The window will open once more with current settings which can then be customized.
The data can be later updated using the Refresh Selection in the Refinitiv tab without needing to export it once more.
