Useful functions

A couple cheat sheets with useful functions and their shortcuts can be found in the Home section.

Some of the functions used in this section:

  • DDIS (Debt Distribution) — maturity distribution of debt for the selected issuer,
  • ECST (World Economic statistics— economic data for countries from multiple sources,
  • IFMO (Inflation Monitor) — inflation data for countries and regions worldwide,
  • CSDR (Sovereign Ratings— a table of short- and long-term sovereign credit ratings,
  • CRVF (Curve Finder— search for curves from fixed income market (bonds etc.),
  • GC (Graph Curves— chart yield curves and see how interest rates move over time,
  • COUN (Country/Region Guide— overview of a country/region's financial markets, news and more,

  • ECFC (Economic Forecasts)  see economic forecasts and compare regional forecasts.

Country overview

To observe a selected country/region's main data from financial markets, news and more, use function COUN (Country/Region Guide).

On the function landing page, the selected country or region can be modified from the amber box on the top of the screen. After selecting it, press <GO> and the data will get updated.

Inflation monitor

For a quick overview of inflation data around the world, we can use function IFMO (Inflation Monitor).

On top of the screen we see a table with inflation rates, targets and forecasts for selected countries and some other data as well. In the middle part we can visually compare inflation indicators from different countries and on the bottom of the page, the latest inflation headlines are presented.

To change the list of displayed countries, use the amber box on the top-left part of the screen.

Sometimes the list of countries is too long to display all of them in the table. In this case use the outlined button below to show all of them:

By clicking on an individual rate in the table, a chart opens with its historical values.

Operations with the chart, such as adding other time series, customizing displayed data, exporting and more are explained in the Charts section.
