The Excel Plug-in for Capital IQ allows us to pull data directly from the database into an Excel workbook. There are also pre-designated templates available that can significantly simplify our work when performing various analyses.
The Excel Plug-in is available for the Capital IQ Pro version, to which SEB LU also has access. To download it, you need to log in to Capital IQ Pro, which can be done at the link.
After logging in, select the tab Tools -> S&P Capital IQ Pro Office Download.
We choose the outlined button and use the downloaded file to install the Plug-in.
After the installation, it is usually necessary to close and reopen Excel for the Plug-in tab to appear in the toolbar and get ready to use:
