Capital IQ (ENG)

Data about historical stock price movements and other financial metrics of a company can be obtained through the charting app. It can be accessed:

• always from the top category bar using Charting -> Chart Builder,
• in case that any page with data of an individual company is open, by choosing Chart Builder under Charting on the left.

All currently displayed data in the chart will get exported, in both chart and data table form. Instructions for editing displayed data is available in chapter Drawing charts. Export is performed by clicking on the Excel symbol on the top-right part of the page, which downloads a new file with data.

We can export other financial data in the same way — we manage them with the METRICS button, and we add data from other companies for comparison using the COMPARE button. More information about these two options is available in the Drawing charts chapter.
