In the Excel Plug-In, we can also access the Formula Builder function, which allows us to create more complex functions in connection with selected companies.

Clicking on Formula Builder opens a window (linked to Capital IQ Pro) that allows us to build a function with the help of a configurator and tables from which we select the companies and values that interest us.

Enter the desired company into the first line. By clicking on the search symbol on the right, a list of companies that correspond to the entered phrase opens, from which we can choose the right one. We can change the Identifier selection to Cell, so that the company selection is selected by reference to a cell in the open Excel file instead of an entry.

We continue by selecting the desired indicator for display in the next line. The drop-down menu, which offers us relevant options, is helpful. Attention: we can only choose one criterion, so when entering a new one, the previous one is deleted from the formula we are building.

Finally, we select the time interval of the value that we want to add to the formula.

In the same way, we can add other formulas to the selection. Finally, confirm the entire function by clicking Apply. Excel will automatically print the columns for each formula that we previously added to the selection.
