Founded in 1947, the Central Economic Library (CEL) is the main Slovenian scientific and higher education library in the field of economic sciences and business. The Library comprises 245,000 physical items of monographs and periodicals and a rich collection of electronic resources available to users in the areas of science, research, education and the economy. The library is an active member of the COBISS system and the COSEC library consortium.
In 2012, it was thoroughly renovated and redecorated in order to give visitors, on top of relevant contents, a pleasant environment for working and socialising. Modern RFID technology ensures efficient work , record keeping and material security, and Internet-enabled computers allow access to a wide range of licensed electronic resources, in particular databases and electronic newspapers. The entire area of the library and faculty is covered by a wireless network.
Newer materials can be selected by users on their own free access, for studying and group work - upon prior reservation - equipped seminar rooms are available. After closing the library, they can continue their study in the late night reading room.

From Maribor:
At the Tomačevo roundabout, take the Export Center lane and turn to Vojkova Street and after 500 meters you will reach the School of Economics and Business.
From Kranj, Koper and Novo mesto:
Once on the Ljubljana bypass, you reach the WTC (World Trade Center) exit, where you turn into Dunajska Street towards the city centre, and turn left into Baragova Street at the second set of traffic light (next to AMZS). When you reach Vojkova ulica, turn right and then take the first street to the right.
From FELU reception you can reach the library by going downstairs, going right at the bar Big Deal past the Student Affairs Office, taking right to the hallway called Small Gallery and taking left to the library.
