Remote Access

Our students are also able to access licensed information resources from locations outside the campus

The Central Economics Library (CEL) provides our students and researchers with a range of information resources, from the COBISS/OPAC catalogue and the Digital UI repository to licensed databases we have purchased alone or as members of consortia.

The databases may be accessed from the CEK computers or on personal devices via Wi-Fi. We also offer students the possibility to access information sources from home.

Remote access is available to School of Economics and Business (formerly known as Faculty of Economics) students holding student status and valid library membership. A username and password are assigned individually by the library’s Circulation Department.

Remote access also allows our students and researchers to take advantage of subscription resources held in locations outside of the library. The service enables library members to access electronic resources irrespective of both time and where they are located.

Sign-in for remote access

Remote access is enabled for students, researchers, professors and other employees of the University of Ljubljana.

You may log in by selecting the library you are a member of, entering the user name and password you obtain in the library. The username is either a student’s registration number or library membership card number. Students from other universities, employees and the unemployed are not entitled to remote access.
